Metropolitan Police Department

Sergeant Sanetta Parker of the Metropolitan Police Department, began her tenure with MPD in 2007.  Since that time, she has worked in various facets of the department to include Patrol, the Department of Forensic Science, and the Holding Facility within the First District.


She became a sergeant in 2016 and has worked as a patrol sergeant, administrative sergeant, and currently the station/holding facility/property sergeant. 


Sergeant Parker continues to have a strong passion for helping others and loves what she does.



Fair Girls, LLC

Dawnesha Coffin became the Vida Home Manager in December 2017 upon her graduation from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). She has had the pleasure of working for several great employers, such as, Marion Barry’s Youth Leadership Institute at DOES, Willowbrook Treatment Facility, and KRA Corporation. With her educational and employment background, she strives to assist individuals with developing quality skills to excel in their life endeavors. Dawnesha’s goal is to better assist human trafficking survivors with breaking down barriers they may face personally, socially, or within their community. Dawnesha will continuously work towards her goal and fid new innovative ways to advocate for the population she serves here at FAIR Girls.

Dear Fat Girl

B. Garrett is a Mentor, Advocate , Motivational Speaker and Entrepreneur who is always pushing herself to new heights. Hailing from Harlem, New York, She has never let her circumstances define the potential of who she could be or what she could accomplish. Coined for believing that “ Broken Crayons Still Color”, She took her experiences in life and decided to create avenues that would help young women & girls become strong and confident. She is the Founder and CEO of Dear Fat Girl™️; A Brand created to Promote body positivity among women. 


Founded in 2015, Dear Fat Girl™️ motivates and inspires young women and girls; encouraging an unapologetic and fearless journey of self awareness and acceptance. With several years of experience as a Human Service Professional, B. Garrett, is an empowerment ambassador, a change agent for black women, and most importantly a beacon of hope for inner city troubled youth who have experience hardships on how to rise above. 


She is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.

Dr. Lamar currently works as the Instructional Supervisor of the Peer and Assistance and Review Program for Prince George’s County Public Schools. Prior to taking on this role, she served as the principal of Calverton Elementary located Beltsville, Maryland.


She was the principal of Calverton for 8 years and truly loved working and inspiring her teachers towards greatness. In her current role, her hope is to help increase teacher support and retention by enhancing and expanding the Peer Assistance and Review program. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Howard University. 


Recently, she has published two articles focusing on principal leadership development and how to utilize the recommendations of the Kirwan Commission as a school leader. She believes that teaching and learning is her life’s work, and she hopes to continue growing and developing as a “life long learner”.

Monique Rose personifies brains and beauty. As a successful businesswoman, entrepreneur, restaurateur, author and culinary visionary, Monique is building a restaurant empire by fusing traditional business savvy and industry skills with lavish creations and niche restaurants that are

appealing to foodies worldwide!

As Monique’s knowledge and experience grew, she became an expert in the service industry, and in 2011, began consulting work for new and existing restaurants throughout the United States, before settling down and working as general manager for several large-scale establishments in Atlanta, Ga. 


With a fifteen-year proven track record of increasing sales and revenue for more than a dozen restaurants throughout America, in 2016, Monique created Milked, LLC, and with Chef Sammy at the

menu’s helm, the pair opened their first restaurant Milk & Honey Café, a all-day-brunch-themed bistro in Beltsville, MD, where Monique oversees the day-to-day operations, and in less than two years, helped grow a 55-seat café into three thriving restaurants with additional locations in College Park and Bowie, MD and Atlanta, GA.

In January 2019, Milked opened their fourth restaurant Catch 22, a seafood restaurant in the heart of Washington, DC

She has been the branding powerhouse behind multiple government agencies in the DMV, generated millions of dollars in government funding for corporate clients and partnered with major communications firms developing graphics, websites, print and marketing materials.


Over the years, Lateasa felt a deeper desire to apply her expertise and talent to supporting non-profit organizations, churches and small businesses. Building relationships has always been her passion, so offering her clients an experience that would provide longevity, conversions and trust was inevitable.


When Lateasa isn’t running her agency, she enjoys curating social events and is busy being a dope mom to her two handsome boys while influencing and inspiring other moms as “The Creative Mompreneur” by showing them how to creatively manage business and motherhood.
